Keratin Straightening Treatments

In the North American Allure magazine - edition of October 2007 an article was published exposing the dangers on some Brazilian capillary treatments that contain formaldehyde. Many hair stylists and clients are aware today of the importance of applying formaldehyde – free products.

  2. My hair looks BEAUTIFUL thanks to Sunliss Keratin Light. I've ordered the Chocolate Keratin but I still have one treatment left of the Keratine Light. I'm sure my hair will grow faster because of the Keratin that makes my hair stronger so it won't break at the ends. And I'm sure I will have less split ends! To be continued...

  12. I am so disappointed, it doesnt do anything to my hair. My mom is a hairdresser and she is the one who has given me the treatment, so I know that the steps are well performed . I hoped this was the thing to get rid of the frizz but now the frizz is still here . So now I left with los of valuable time and loss of money :(

    I was using it for two years and had amazing results, life changing.
    THEN I bought this new formula. It did nothing. No straightening effect, no shine, no frizz reduction.

  14. I bought and tried this product for the first time in June of 10. WOW!!! This stuff is awsome!! Some people think that Blowouts are going to make their hair super straight but that is not he case with these keratin treatments what they do take the frizz out of your hair and make it soft and manageable. When I did my first treatment of sunliss I wondered at first if it would take my natural curl away but it didn't only the ugly frizz; leaving it shinny, soft and healthy looking. Even a day out at the lake/beach/ or water resort after getting your hair wet and letting it airdry your hair gets a sexy wave and not all gross and frizzy....all you girls with curly hair know what I am talking about..lol. Seriously this stuff is amazing and the price is too!! I highly recommend that anyone wanting to try to get any kind of blowout treatment is to use hair products like your shampoo and conditioner that don't contain no sulfate; being that sulfate strips the hair of keratin. Using sultfate free products make the treatment last longer. Personally, I sunliss treat my hair every three months. The first time I did it I left the product on like it said for two whole days and the second treatment I left it on for only one day and notice the same effect as when I left it on for two days, but it was very crucial not to pull your hair up or pin it or even wet it.     I did it by myself. We used last drops of old formula.

    Then she took my bottle of new Ultra Keratin which I bought in summer because she wanted to straighten her grown roots. I have already known that new formula is bad. Because my friends tried it in summer. And they didn't like it. But we had just this treatment.

    And my friend was so dissappointed too. Nothing happenned! NOTHING! No result at all.

    And it is very unpleasant that "Sunliss company" doesn't reply on my messages. Because in summer they promised to restore old formula and send it to clients who purchased new keratin. I was waiting for a long time. And I tried to write again and again. But they don't answer. Now I am looking for an effective keratin.

  16. My hair is naturally dry, frizzy and unmanagable! It usually takes me 45 minutes to straighten after blowdrying! I used the Sunliss Ultra-Keratin product for the first time and it is fantastic!
    Now I can blow dry my hair and it is instantly smooth and flat, I rarely need to use my straighteners. It saves me hours a week and already my hair looks healthier and feels smoother!
    I cannot reccomend it enough!

  17. I have used the 'old' Sunliss a few times and my hairs been great, I didnt want to risk trying another product cos i am a bit sensitive to some products and have waited patiently for the new product to come out, I did it last week and it's even better than before! yippeee!

  18. WARNING: do NOT buy Sunliss Keratin! You guys said that it was sold out and you needed an alternative country to give you the missing ingredient, but the new product is CRAP!!! It doesnt regenerate or straighten your hair. I have paid 175 guilders for a WORTHLESS product. Im NEVER BUYING SUNLISS AGAIN!

  25. Hello, I would like to ask you, if theese products really straighten your hair, or it only regenerate hair.. I would like of my hair to be straight, but I heard that products without formaldehyd does not fact for a long time, it only regenerates your hair.. Girls and sunliss company, can you tell me, if I am right and if light keratin treatment could straighten my light wavy hair..? I would be unhappy, if I washed my hair and it started to be wavy again..

  29. All I can say is AMAZING! I learned about keratin treatments recently and told all of my best gal pals about it! They all decided I would be the test study for our group and if my hair didn't fall out (lol) and it looked amazing they would do it too! I researched different products trying to decide which brand I was going to go with! I am a white girl with VERY curly hair! It will straighten but takes a long time and high heat to do it! After my reasearch I decided to go with Sun Liss for different reasons but the price was great too! I used the strongest formula because I have so much curl! After the treatment was complete I was blown away but knew that the true results would come after I washed the product out 2 days later! When I washed out the product I couldn't believe my hair...It was truly someone elses hair! It was softer than I can ever remember my hair being! I live in the south where we have lots of humidity and the frizz vertually stays away and my hair is soooo shiny! It is now almost a month later and just yesterday I went to my hair stylist who was also blown away...she was taking me around to all of the other stylists in the salon telling them "look at and touch her hair you should have seen it before!" I am VERY VERY pleased and am excited to see how long the effect lasts! Needless to say all of my gal pals are ready to do their hair as well! I will tel everyone! Hello - i just wanted to thank you Sun liss - I found your product through my stylist that recommended it, since im very sensitive to harsh chemicals - you know, highlights and those treatments have an oder that really affects me, even cutting an onion gives me a really bad eye irritation! LOL - I guess that is common for everybody... Any how I found that the Light keratin is just perfect! it is not harsh at all and my hair looks unbelievable!!!!! THANK YOU I LOVE YOU!

  31. I am a mixture of german and african american. I have ultra thin frizzy hair that wouldn't straighten,wave or curl if you held a gun up to it :-) This is the only product that will get rid of the frizz and allow me to go ultra straight or let my hair dry naturally with I little "day -at -the- beach -sexy wave". The keratin also thickens my hair so that I don't have a "see-thru-curtain" effect like I used to get after flat ironing. It's healthier and softer than it has ever been.

    I herd people complaining about the changing color from light to an ugly yellow .
    on many keratin brands in the market. This is the hairdressers fault, ( or lack of experience).

    The hairdresser has to look at the hair, and fill the texture, ( usually , hi lights will turn ugly, if the hairdresser apply too much heat.) ….

    Ladies always get this treatment done by someone with experiece.
    if your hair changes a toner will always tae your color back to what it was.

  35. I must say, Im a bit dissapointed.
    My hair look nice, but I have colored blonde hair(not platinum blonde), and now it got "orange-gold", what I dont like.
    I expected this treatment to be colorless,
    but my hair feel silky.
    And now Im wondering if I may color my hair to get my normal haircolor back.
    Im not sure if I will buy it again.
